This one was a little strange to review with only 3/4 of the total story, but I may pick up the fourth e-serial just to round everything out. This review covers parts 1-3 of the four-part e-serial of Donna Grant’s Smoke and Fire, a Dark Kings novel, which I received advance reader copies of through NetGalley. Fans of the series will not be disappointed with Ryder and Kinsey’s story, but I prefer to read the entire story in one piece rather than

Sometimes you can really sum a book up in two short sentences......
Absolutely fantastic !. I would recommend to all !!! .

I know, I know ya need a iddy biddy bit more to wet your appetites. Okay then go on......

This is Ryder and Kinsey's book. There were very much happy and in love before Ryder decided that he was protecting Kinsey from any back lash she might get for being with a "Dark King" (Dragon Delicious !!!),

Fluttering Thoughts:
Worldbuilding: As always, it’s a pleasure to return to the Dark Kings world.
Characters: Kins and Ryder finally opened up about their fears and desires, though it took some effort and angest on both parts – understandable. I really love the way Kins interacts with the rest of the Dragon Kings, especially Con *har~har*. He’s kind of an asshole, a bit, and I love how she does her

It seems that Kinsey still can’t get enough of Ryder and the passion is reaching a boiling a point this sizzling third installment of Smoke and Fire.

Not only is the passion reaching boiling point but things are heating up at Dreagan as well with Kinsey and Ryder finding that all the searching they have do on the computers may not ever end but at least they are finding some clues to help in their war with Ulrik and the Dark, some of which is quite upsetting for Henry which adds some excitement to

This is Part 3/Book 3 In the Smoke and Fire by Donna Grant. This book continues the story of Kinsey, Ryder and the other secondary characters. There is also a cliffhanger here that sets you up for the next book in the Kinsey and Ryder story.
Kinsey's boss has been calling and Kinsey is finding that she is more and more understand what Ryder and his friends are. She feels she is on their side now but she still

Loved part 3!! So much is happening and we are learning more about everyone involved in the Dragon King's battle. I am so excited about the events that are unfolding around Rhi and her follower. I cannot wait to see where her journey takes us next. I loved Con's role in this part of the book. Ryder and Kinsey are definitely learning there isn't much sense in trying to fight their attraction and love that they once shared. I am left waiting and wanting more! I cannot wait for Part 4, thank you ...more

The suspense and drama is building at Dreagan, Kinsey is trying to find out who sent her to Dreagan and her boss wants her to find out the truth about the men who call Dreagan their home, the close quarters with Ryder is bringing the walls she thought she had in place tumbling down and her feelings for him coming back. The sexual tension is on fire! She is learning more and more about the people at Dreagan and coming to care for them, but do they trust her with not hurting Ryder. Loved it, was ...more

OMG this book sure is heating up. Ulrik what is he up to, can he be this man that they are looking for that recruited Henry's sister? Poor Henry he needs to move on he can't have hi no matter how much he loves her.
Can Kins ever forgive Ryder, will her heart ever recover if he hurts her again? Ryder can't let her go he loves her too much but he still fears that she will leave him.
Con what to think of this golden dragon king what is he up to with the queen?
Can't wait for the next part in the

I am a huge fan of Donna Grant’s books and I have enjoyed all the parts I have read so far from the new book, Smoke and Fire. For me this book has picked up the pace as the first two were a bit slower than the others in the series, but they are dealing with more issues such as all the possible betrayal of the Dragon Kings, the characters get to deal with differing emotions in this one. Another good instalment and I'm already looking forward to the next one.

Kinsey has finally succumbed to her desire for Ryder, but can she forgive him for breaking her heart years before?
This part grabbed me just as quickly as the others. I was glad that Kinsey decided to give into her desire to be with Ryder again. I also liked the continued overall series plot happening in the book. I highly recommend.

Loving this series is just to easy. Henry is in for a surprise when they find his sister among the MI5. Rhi knows that things are not what they seem but she can't let it go.

Kinsley is learning things are not exactly what she thought when it xome to dealing with her boss. Now she's working side by side is putting them in a position where they will have to battle their attraction and hard feelings.

Donna Grant hits it out of the park again.
I still cant decide which Dragon King is my favorite.
While I LOVE reading these as soon as possible I always hate myself for reading it in parts.
I never can wait until the entire book is out.
I have read each part 2 times already waiting for part 4

I am absolutely loving Kinsey and Ryder. They are both harboring so much hurt and vulnerability. The romance between them is so sweet and sensual.
Rhi and Balladyn are still trying to figure of the Reaper rumor. Con was slightly less of a tool in this installment as well. The wrap up of this one should be awesome.

This series keeps getting better and better. We are getting more back stories from the other characters and Kinsey and Ryder are learning to trust each other again. As the Dragons and Fae work together and try to find the Dark Lord the suspense is starting to build for part 4.

Better than the last one

There is a lot more substance to this story than the last one. The love is slowly being re-kindled because trust is being rebuilt.
