Wow. I will never forget this amazing honest memoir.

This book really got to me. I feel like I Know Julie Guardado; and of course I do, as will anybody who takes the time to read her story. I’m an Elton and Elvis-loving girl from California’s Central Valley. For ten years, I’ve been working as a registered nurse in Sacramento. But, my true passion is writing. My all-time favorite books are: The Poisonwood Bible (Kingsolver), City of Thieves (Benioff) and The Diving Bell & The Butterfly (Bauby).
