What happened?
He’d been dodging the lightning, fighting the wind and rain, looking for a place to hide…when he’d seen the faint glow in the distance. There was no answer at the door so he’d broken in, entered… and there she was, a beautiful Valkyrie. Wielding her sword, she screamed as she struck him—for no good reason—and then everything went black. Everything.

I’m a huge fan of Romantic Suspense and when I discovered Livia Quinn wrote this book right after Katrina, I had to read it!

From the time Brenna was young, she’s had premonitions. Her best friend, Declan, calls it a gift but for Brenna, it’s a nightmare. On the night of the biggest storm she can recall, Brenna has a bad feeling. She can’t figure out what it means, only that someone’s life is in danger. Gripped with terror, she knocks out an unsuspecting stranger trying to get into her house.

Storm Warning is Book 7 in the wonderful Storm Lake series by the fantastic Livia Quinn!!! It is a Contemporary Romance, filled with suspense, action, adventure, thrills and lots of steamy romance. What happens when a stranger is wacked in the head by a beautiful girl?...amnesia and the wildest dreams he’s ever had!!! Poor Brenna now has to help this hunky guy find out who he is and why he’s in her neck of the woods. There are also bad guys waiting for them. I really enjoyed the revelations and ...more
I hate noisy storms. This story pushed that point for me. The author really makes the storm come alive. As well as, the characters. They are both strong, the female not a melting pot (except during the storm, but there is a reason) and even the secondary characters are interesting. Fever induced lust, a dark past in our hero, and a heroine that isn't going to deny for very long that the man she's been looking for is right in front of her.

Livia Quinn grew up near DC—go Redskins!—then moved to the bayous of Louisiana—go Saints! Yes, she’s a huge football fan.
With a life long fascination, read that: phobia of storms, and with severe weather a part of life in Louisiana, it was only natural that it would play a big part in her world. Livia’s Storm Lake series encompasses paranormal on the West end of the lake in Destiny and military r
