This is the first book I have read by this author and the first one in this series. I will be honest, the book blurb appealed to me. I am interested in witches and the paranormal, but do not know very many hard facts about witches or wiccan or the paranormal. After reading this book, I know more about witches and wiccan, but I am not sure whether I liked what I earned or not. Sam Roberts, a lawyer, gets gift of a tarot reading by a fortuneteller from his friend Bob. When he goes to the reading, ...more

I've always loved all things witchy. I even remember this dream I had when I was little. I was walking into a cave and there was an old woman standing above a cauldron. She was stirring and saying something but I can't recall what and I was drawn to get this pentagram ring at a random store in the mall. How weird is it that the place was called General Store? Getting the chance to read this book was so great because I love witch books and I've been trying to read more men authors. It feels like ...more

While I’ve enjoyed the earlier books in this series, Wiccan Witch felt a little flat. I had the whole thing figured out within a few chapters and that left me without my reader’s goal – that feeling of re-living a book for days after I’ve finished, remembering moments and lines, making them dear to my heart.

In this book, Sam came off as passive and obsequious. I can understand why he fell in

Samuel Roberts hopes to escape his past. To be able to live in peace. In his mind, moving to a new home will allow him to do just that. He looks forward to finally being able to breathe easier and let go of all that ails him. Until he meets the beautiful Bridget Gillis. It's then his life takes another unexpected turn.

Scott has honestly done it again. He's given us another Samuel Roberts thriller full of intrigue, suspense, and so many unexpected twists and turns. I first came in contact with th

The Wiccan Witch of the Midwest is a book filled with mystery and humor at the same time. The theme is witchcraft, a woman who is a fortuneteller is being charged with practicing witchcraft and murdering children in the community that a coven lives in. It is against the practice of the witches to do harm to others. Practicing bad magic is a no no. So along comes Sam Roberts, a man who is not only a lawyer but has had experience getting rid of evil and with his friend Bob. Bob introduced Sam to B ...more

This is the fourth book in the Samuel Roberts thriller series and the first one that I have read. I found this to be a thrilling read and was reeled in with the first page. There are some twists and turns in this story and you will be surprised as to who is really responsible for the "blood thorns".

I highly recommend this book. It was a fast and suspenseful read.

I received a copy from the publisher in exchange for my review.

This mystery romance delves into the mystical and magical realm of spells, potions and the misunderstood Wiccan religion.

I received this book in exchange for a fair review.
Here is is.

I really liked this book. I recommend it. The ending is totally unexpected, that is always a good thing so often the book is good but the ending is a let down---not this time.
