Recommends it for: Y'all who love a romantic medieval romance, with an interesting storyline and likeable characters

I was really anxious to read Magic in his Kiss. Lately, I have been pining to read a really good Medieval Romance. I do have difficulty getting into these types of romances, because they can be slower-paced for me and I sometimes lose interest in them quickly. I can honestly say that Magic in His Kiss by Shari Anton grabbed my interest from the first page and held it until the last. Filled with adventure, passion and romance, I quickly read this book and was very sorry for it to end!

Pleasant medieval romance. I wasn't expecting the paranormal/magic aspect for some reason, although I guess the title should have been a clue, but it fit into the story nicely and the author didn't go totally over the top with it. Enjoyable story involving a lady of Welsh decent who becomes the ward of the English monarch, King Stephen. Of course, as most women were, she becomes a political pawn to be used as a marriage prize in order to facilitate political relations. The story is sweetly romantic with this heroine escaping the King's confines with a childhood acquaintance who brings her back to Wales and a maternal uncle. Of course, along the way they both fall in love. The nice twist is that the hero while of good birt ...more

Captivating and sensual, it was a great read, wonderful characters and lots of tension, did bog down a couple of times but nothing more than a page or two. A great read.
