It all began in Del Mar, a chance meeting with a single rule--one week only.

Or did it?

Lennox ‘Nox’ Demetri and Alexandria ‘Charli’ Collins had every intention of following their agreement but rules are made to be broken. In CUNNING they are reunited with Nox setting down new rules for the game and Charli having no choice but to follow them.

Now, once again, the game has ch

Deception is book 3 in Aleatha Romig’s Infidelity series (in title only- no cheating in these books ;) ). Every book I read from this series I get more and more intrigued and curious as to what’s going to happen. Everyone so far has had a cliffhanger- but not the kind that makes me rage, the kind that makes me want MORE! With every book, the game changes a little more. We find out more about the past. And things get a little more real!

Secrets. Secrets have been at the cornerstone of Ch

I absolutely HATED what was done to Adelaide in this one, god the angst I felt was insane!! I wanted to help her so badly.

This series seems to be affecting me more the second time round, it has me so wound up at times I have to put it down just to take a breath. These are the types of books I love though so I'm off to the next one.

Not by accusations or words on a piece of paper.
Not by shadows that lurked in my eyes or ghosts in his past.
Not even the devil himself.

Nox is overcome with his need to protect...his need to control. There is too much happening and not enough information to act on, no matter how good his trusted circle is. But what Charli requests in return for her compliance in keeping her safe; the truth from his past...

A book about fake friendships, parents' sacrifices and old mistakes which will come back to bite everyone in the ass.

Four points of view this time: Charli’s POV, Adelaide’s POV (Charli's mother), Nox’s and Oren’s (Nox’s father).

Judging from the result, I think both Charli and Adelaide could have picked better best friends.
Adelaide could have definitely picked better husband, but I have started feeling sorry for her. She looks more like a victim and she less annoying in comparison to the previou

Holy moly batman, this series, Aleatha you are killing me!! Where do I even begin, what can I even say that isn’t a spoiler??

If you are following the series you can rest easy knowing Deception picks up right where Cunning left off. Charli has found the note and is asking Knox for an explanation. From there things just unravel and things just get even more involved.

My goodness, what a roller coaster ride of a book. I've really enjoyed every installment in this series, but Deception is probably my favorite thus far. Nox blew me away with his passion and charm and it's always so endearing when you see an Alpha male hero like him, open up and show his more vulnerable side. What a fantastic book, I loved it!!!

Aleatha Romig is a masterful storyteller. Deception is book 3 in the Infidelity Series. Betrayal and Cunning were the cocktails and appetizers, Deception is part of the main course. We are given more of the background of Nox and Charli and how their lives are somewhat connected. The way the author sprinkles the past throughout the story helps to brings the story full circle. There are still so many who, what, hows and whys.........but that is what the author does best, give

This book fed me up, it took me almost 3 weeks to read a 300 pages book. I'm done with this series.

I have a real question now, who was the biggest d*ck in this book?

A: Alexandria?

B: Chelsea?

C: Lennox?

Holy crap, Aleatha Romig did it again! I’m dazed, shocked and stupefied! Just when you start getting answers in the web of lies, new questions are formed. She gives you just enough information to wet your whistle, satisfying your curiosity and bam, like a freaking two by four between the eyes, Aleatha slams you back to reality. One bonafide straight jacket for this intense five star read!

I didn't like what happened at the end of the last book so I couldn't wait to find out what in the heck was going on. A.R. gives us the whole ending in the prologue of this book and of course, you can only imagine where things go from there.

But...while Nox and Charli do give each other space, they also can't stand to be apart. I loved how they talked things out but I was a bit surprised at the next part! Then things get really complicated and I'm a little disappointed in Nox...again.

When one reads a series, it is important to have the right mindset. It is like a conditioning for a marathon. There will be the excitement of the start.... the next section of getting your groove and then the play of timing... a little faster here.. slower in other parts, leading up to finishing the race.

This series has many elements and keeping them clear and concise is what makes Aleatha Romig's talent necessary. She has created this world with many, man

Once again, Aleatha Romig has masterfully crafted a series that has readers begging for more. In this third installment, Deception, readers are taken down the proverbial rabbit hole where truths, lies, and secrets are slowly revealed and unmasked. Deception starts exactly where Cunning was stopped. Ms. Romig being brilliant as she is, she uses the last pages of Cunning as a prologue for Deception! Deception starts off right where Cunning left off. Okay that's it, that is all I can tell you. I'm joking, but I will say this there are so many twists and turns and just when I think I might have something figured out I don't.

What a tangled web this author has woven. After three books in a five book series, I still have no idea where the story is leading. This author has built a complex series with multiple possible outcomes. But there's only one outcome that matters to me. . . . will Lennox and Charli survive the forces that try to pull them apart?
After the ending for this book, I'm nervous on all accounts but not for the reasons you may think.

What can I tell you?

No, no, no, no, no September is coming soon, right?

What an tangled web Mrs. Romig is weaving with this tale of Infidelity Series, which is half/just over with two books to come. Infidelity isn't always about cheating on a lover or loved one, it can mean Deception by using Cunning means and use many Betrayals. " Infidelity - It isn't what you think"

“She filled me with a promise of something that I’d forgotten existed – a promise of more, of love, laughter and life.”

Aleatha Romig continues to weave this web of suspense, lies and intrigue all the while continuing a beautiful love story between the two main characters Nox and Alex/Charli. It seems that as the rich get richer the lengths to which they will go to protect what they deem to be theirs just gets more and more sinister. Just

Another spine-tingling read from the wonderfully-talented Aleatha Romig.

Book 3 in the series opens up exactly where we left off in Cunning. While Charli and Nox are trying to sort through their issues, others are attempting to manipulate them for personal gain. At times, it is difficult to identify who is playing who, but I love that aspect of this series! The intrigue ramps up a notch and we have the undercurrent of political wranglings mixed in with the Collins mafiosa-type family shenanigans

DNF @ 60%. Hmm, I'm the minority here, but I forced myself to read till 60% of this book since the reviews were so good for this series

There's nothing that annoyed me necessarily in the books, except that it could not in any way capture my interest. Each book is long, and yet in every book hardly anything happens. It feels like we gain a lot of information about business deals and relationships but nothing really happens. In every book, I felt like hardly anything at all happens, it's maybe the

I am usually not good at finishing trilogies. So finding out this was going to be a five book series of course had me worried I would not finish. But heck yes I was wrong. Each spell binding installment leaves me wanting more.

Nox and Charli are going strong until a carefully worded letter causes some serious damage. But thanks to Nox's alpha nature and Charli's undying love they quickly get back on track.

This installment gives more backstory on Charli's and Nox's past along with their family hi
