Since I’ve finished this series in a binge, I’ve been trying to sit on it and see if perhaps my enthusiasm for it is clouding my enjoyment. I can confidently say that no, I still think it’s pretty awesome. And Darkness Embraced is probably my favourite along with Souls Unfractured.

This book...

It was very convoluted at certain points (especially when family secrets started to spill) but I can’t say that it bothered me in the least.

‘DARKNESS EMBRACED' is the seventh book in Tillie Cole’s ‘Hades Hangmen' series. Spoken in ‘Dual Perspectives.’

Like Romeo and Juliet this relationship was doomed from the start, it’s not possible that they can have an open relationship, it will put a price on both their heads. In a perfect world they would be together.

I didn’t know how we had gotten here, to this place. I didn’t know how he, the man I was never meant to like, let alone desire, had become my sun. Had become the star of my every waking thought. But he had. He had become my center—the anchor that kept me still.

The seventh installment of the ”Hades Hangmen” series wasn’t as painfully dark as some of the earlier books, but still had an amazing plot, passionate romance, and heart-pounding actio
Oh wow! Tillie Cole has done it again with her dark MC series! This time it is with Tanner; the White Prince Klu klux klan heir... or I should say EX heir because he left the evil group to become a Hangman!!! And the Princess of the Mexican cartel.. Teo people who should never be together; but they fall in love against all odds! Of course, nothing comes easy for any of the Hades Hangmen; and believe me, there is a ton of angst, sorrow, pain... you name it for them to conquer through! I was hooke ...more

That was disappointing. Their love didn’t really build up it just happened, more like lust and who flirts with a nazi even if it is to make them uncomfortable? This will be the last book I read by Tillie cole. it didn’t feel like a hangmen book and I didn’t really feel the love between tanner and adelita it felt like pure lust. the twists weren’t shocking I guessed most of them. the klan and cartel were supposed to be these big bad villains but were killed off fast. This is a forbidden love between Tanner , the white prince and Adelita the Mexican Cartel Princess.I don't want to give anything away but I need to tell you I felt every emotion!I was anxious and nervous to see what will happen next!

I can't wait to see what Tillie Cole will have

"We were at war."

Darkness Embraced is the seventh book in the Hades Hangmen Series. Although it can be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend reading the entire series from the beginning. Tanner Ayers, a former KKK member, has found his home with the Hades Hangmen. Although he has found loyalty and peace with his brothers, he has never forgotten the love he left behind. Adelita Quintana, a cartel princess, and Tanner fell in love when their fathers were doing business together. A Mexican

I fell deeply in love with this series, when I read the first book, It Ain't Me, Babe, years ago. I have loved every single book in this series, since, though book 2, Heart Recaptured, still remains to be my favorite out of all of them. I am a fangirl ;)

The reason I love this series so much, is because these books are so different from anything else I have ever read. They really test my limits. Now I love me some biker books, but these books are so much more than MC books. They play with suc

Double wowzers!! Tillie Cole never disappoints in delivering an 'on the edge of a seat' action. Holy shit! That was a motherfucking epic ride. From the first scene to the last I was holding my breath because this book really doesn't let you catch your breath. This better be BOMB AF. I've been waiting for ages for this ;)

Just when you think you are immune to Tillie's dark ways, she finds a way to pull at your last heartstring.

This installment follows Tanner, formerly known as the White Prince of the KKK, and Lita, the daughter of a drug lord in Mexico. We get flashbacks to Tanner's childhood where he was taught to hate people of a different skin color. So imagine his surprise when he falls for Lita when he is a teenager.

This book was interesting, thrilling, and action-packed. I was really interested in Tanner and when I met Adelita I knew she would a likable character. I enjoyed the Hangmen brotherhood, they always supported each other. Even though I enjoyed it, it isn't my favorite.

It was very tamed than the other books from the Hangman series . It was a shocking revelation that Adelita turns out to be Styx's sister but the plot twist was really good. However, I think it was focused more on the club, I enjoye

Overall Opinion: I enjoyed this. It's not going down as my favorite of the series (I think that belongs to Flame's story), but I still enjoyed it. I was definitely intruiged to get Tanner's story when we met him in previous books, and I think this messed up Romeo and Juliet (though when is Romeo and Juliet not "messed up" 🤔) was unique and a great addition to this awesome series. Tillie Cole is so freakin' good at giving us damaged characters and having them find peace and love in eac
Jan 21, 2019 marked it as hell-fucking-no the author really trying to romanticize a fucking member of the KKK? Is this really what I’m reading in the blurb? Someone tell me this isn’t true because this is fucking disgusting. Especially today when Nazis and KKK garbage are crawling out of the sewers they’d been hiding in, that an author would try to make a KKK member a redeemable hero.

I can’t believe this shit

was definitely looking forward to this book because i wanted to catch up with Flame and Maddie and maybe Hush, Cowboy and Sia too. Unfortunately, i didnt get much from them but Tillie Cole made up for it by promising a novella on Flame and Maddie (although knowing her, only true patience will pass the time whilst we waiting on that shit).

First of all the cover is even more perfect after reading the book, it just fits this story so well. I was happy to dive into the dark and dangerous Hades Hangmen world again. It is one of my favorite series and I just absolutely love how the intricate main storyline keeps on developing more and more each book. Everything is connected and sometimes things aren't what they seem. Even though this book is mainly focusing on Tanner and Ad
Honestly, this was more of Styx story than anything else, he becomes father, discovers the truth about his mother, and that big spoiler thing about heroine that came out of nowhere.
It is sad for me because I was really looking forward to Tanner and Adelita story that had so much potential. In the end this turned out more lust story than love. I really really hate it when I am told and not shown in the book. Look here in freaking flashback how they fell in love... Yeah right..

Tillie Cole crafts the best stories. They are fast paced, with great story lines and soulful romance at the center point. I really can't think of any other romance series I have stayed so consitantly excited for without disappointment.

Tanner and Adelita's story was different than the hangmen books we've seen in the past, but still has the core elements of what is so great and addictive about the series. It was a true "Romeo and Juliette" rom

Tanner and Adelita finally got their story and what a wild emotional ride it was. Tillie Cole had us hooked with her first Hangmen book and every single book thereafter. And yet again, there was so much we loved about Darkness Embraced we’re not sure where to start or how much to say as we don’t want to spoil it for reade

Darkness Embraced was the seventh book in the Hades Hangmen series by Tillie Cole. This series is best read in order.

I waited eagerly for every Hades Hangmen series book and this was no exception. However, I knew it would be a tough one. I knew the Hangmen had been at war with the KKK, and I knew from previous books that Tyler, the former Prince heir to the KKK, had defected to the Hangmen, but unfortunately to get his full story we had to go back to his beginning. I use to love Tillie Cole books and I use to love the Hades Hangmen series, I had the first few books signed! But maybe reading tastes change or maybe by the 7th book of the series you can’t get all that glitter and gold to pop anymore.

It’s been some time since I’ve read a Hangmen’s book, but I know the last one wasn’t my cuppa. Sad to say this one wasn’t my cuppa either.

I’m just not sure about the writing style anymore. I feel like it’s too wordy,

This right here is why I’m a #fangirl of not only this series, but the author as well.

Darkness Embraced had it ALL! “A spectrum of emotion” is all at once an understatement and yet perfectly describes this dary, gritty and emotional book in every way. I got everything I wanted in a Hangmen Book and has me NEEDING more.

OMG, this book is so freaking good!!!! Not as dark as some of the previous books in the Hades Hangmen series, but no less intense, with loads of action and excitement and an absolutely epic romance! Tanner and Adelita’s story captivated me from start to the 4am finish and I loved it!

Two years ago, Tanner Ayers and Adelita Quintana fell in mad, wild, unreserved love. It wasn’t simple, but it was everything, and it should have been the start of something wonderful

TW: This book and the whole series deals with racism and white supremacy. There’s lots of violence (cutting, mutilation, murder) and torture scenes. This is dark romance but not the darkest, it’s kinda light compared to the others.
