An illustrated guide to the two films includes plot outlines, in-depth profiles of the major characters, a look at the locations, and still photographs from the film.
I liked the book of this better than the movie---a lot easier to understand since it introduces the characters and localities, then the story. Since the story does not resemble Carroll's story I cannot understand why the movie was not called Alice in Underland, considering Underland is what it is referred to most in this MTI book. I must admit it is beautifully illustrated, however.
This is a book covering both of the Disney Alice movies. It's filled with photos from the two movies and descriptions of individuals, things and particular scenes.
What I find odd is that there is already a Visual Guide for the first movie and I can't understand why this book wasn't only about the second movie. 69 of the 96 pages, in fact, are devoted to the first movie. That brings down my rating.
I loved this book simply for the visuals which were so colourful and fanciful - just like the films. My one criticism is directed towards its ending, which was abrupt. There should have been more about the storyline of Through the Looking Glass, particularly about how the story was resolved.
