This book is really good. It's hard to believe it's her debut novel.

Grace had some strong qualities, but at times I felt she was a doormat. I wish she would have stood up for herself a little more. She is an incredible mom. She would do anything to make Drew happy and give him a great life.

AJ had his good qualities and bad qualities. I'm a little harder on my male MCs than most. He does some really stupid things. He's amazing with Drew and accepts him right away. I like how he doesn't

I really enjoyed this book. This story followed Grace, who was disowned from her family when she was eighteen, while she relocated to Savannah. There, she meets Alex (AJ), and sparks fly.

The characters were well-written and the plot was good. This is a definite good start to the series!

This is a story of love, overcoming obstacles, and learning to trust. This is the story of Grace Bowman. She is a young woman that never seems to give up. At the age of 18 Grace finds herself pregnant. Her parent are mortified that not only is Grace pregnant, but the father of her child is a man that is well beneath their social situation. Andrew comes from a middle class family. Grace is expected to marry a man that Grace’s father deems acceptable for their station in life.

Love the general storyline and really liked the characters. Both Grace and AJ are relatable and likable. I think the story would be rated higher for me if there was a prologue of sorts to get into the back story for both of them, rather than just revealing that info through their thoughts. It was allow me to feel like more of a witness to their painful pasts. I also would have liked to see Grace be more consistent with her emotions and wants, instead of being wishy-washy. She should have been st ...more
Beside these awful words I can't stand ".. forged a steel wall around her heart..." Because IMO this is the epitome of weakness. The old saying is "the heart wants what wants", so just make sure to be strong enough to decide if the person is worthy to be in your life.
Anyway, my GR friend updated gave another reason to not want to read this. BS much??

“I gave her another minute to turn around, but self-inflicted turmoil was killing me. Finally, I turned around and continued my aimless wandering, but not before I heard Grace Choke as she said my name one last time. My heart hurt at the desolate sound in her voice but being the a-hole I was, I continued walking.”

The Beauty of Grace, by Nicole Richard, is the first book in the She’s Beautiful Series. This is the story of Grace and Alex/AJ.

Grace was only eighteen years old and pregnant. Her parents abandoned her, turned her away, and the baby’s father enlisted in the military. She was alone, completely and utterly alone. For the last 6 years, she’s been raising her son alone. It’s been difficult, but he’s her priority and focus. She finally moves in with her aunt and piece by piece she’s able to make a be

This is book 1 in the She’s Beautiful Series and it is definitely an attention grabber. In the starter book we are introduced to Grace, her adorable son Drew and the handsome brothers AJ and RJ. Grace is starting over with the help of her aunt, in the beautiful and low key city of Savannah. This is a story about love and when you are truly read to open your heart up to another even after it’s be destroyed.

The author has created The Grace persona to be strong and yet vulnerable at the same time.

The Beauty of Grace by Nicole Richard. I give this book 5/5 stars. The theme of this book is a single mom falls for a guy who has had a rough life. This is the first book in She's Beautiful Series.
Grace is a single mom and is full of regret. She didn't get the chance to tell her son's dad that she was pregnant. Her life is turned around when she meets Alex. The first quote I chose for her shows how she feels after everything they've been through: “I love you too, AJ. More than you’ll ever know.

The Beauty of Grace is Nicole Richard’s debut novel and I think that she did a wonderful job. This is a second chance love story but not where the two main characters have been in love before and get a second chance. This is about two people who are both in their own way broken from their past relationships. Given their past heartbreak they both have a hard time trusting and opening up their hearts to someone again. This story was sweet, sexy, funny, and at times ang

Beauty from grace, while I had my moments of "this is a really sweet story!", for the most part, left me wanting just a little something different. Starting off, I had a hard time getting into it, it felt like the writing was strained and the character development was forced. As you go along, there are lots of moments where I really loved what was going on and it felt like the author had rea

If you like a true romance novel with some real life situations and struggles, a good look into the main characters past and present; and enjoy alternating POV's as you read, then this should be right up your street. I've struggled with the alternate POV's in other reads - really couldn't get on with them but on this occasion; in this book, it really worked! It helps it wasn't a strict alternate and the author has continued the story with each switch rather than repeating from the alt perspectiv ...more

This is the amazing story of Grace Bowman, a twenty-three year single mother who finds herself struggling to care for her five year old son, Drew. After deciding that she would do everything in her power to make sure her son has everything he needs, Grace now finds herself in the home of her Aunt Jackie in Savannah, Georgia

Sometimes things are not at all what they seem. This is the beautiful and powerful message of The Beauty of Grace by Nicole Richard. Grace is a single mother, completely alone besides her doting Aunt Jackie. And that time on her own has her convinced that she doesn't need, nor could she handle, a love beside her son’s in her life. However, the universe seems to feel differently, as it continually throws tall and gorgeous Alex into her path. Alex (aka: Aj), however, has been scorned too. And as m ...more

Nicole Richard, gave us enough detail to keep us wanting more, gave us a remarkable lead in Grace, and a book boyfriend in AJ. Dig into a wonderful romance that you won’t be able to put down.

For a debut novel, The Beauty of Grace is certainly well written. From the first page, I was impressed by the level of Ms. Richard's writing - which may say more about the type of books I've been reading lately more than anything.

Grace is looking for a fresh start with her son, Drew, in Savannah. A single mother whose parents disowned her when she refused to end her relationship with a boy from the wrong side of the tracks, she has been making her way on her own. Down on her luck, she has agree

The Beauty of Grace (She’s Beautiful Series Book #1) by Nicole Richard is such an awesome book and I absolutely fell in love with it. I fell in love with Grace, as a mother myself, I loved the way that she fought for her child against all odds, she even went through being disowned by her father because he didn’t want Grace to have the kid and wanted her to give the kid up because it was a stain on the family name and she refused. First book I've read by this author and I loved it.

This is a story of tragedy, regret and trust issues with people's hearts.

Now aged 23, single mum, disowned by her family and living with her only family member that would take her and her gorgeous five year old son in. Grace has always s

This romance story revolves around Grace and her little boy Drew, who live with Grace's Aunt Jackie after Grace loses the love of her life and leaves home to raise her baby alone.

This story really captures the reality of tough situations that affect many people all the time in all walks of life. Grace lost the love of her life and then the love and help of her parents and this really made me feel sorry for her and Drew right from the start. Right from the beginning it was clear that AJ was a m

The Beauty of Grace by Nicole Richard. The title is so perfect for this book because Grace Bowman is beautiful inside and out. Grace and Andrew were high school sweethearts. They were very much in love. Grace found out she was pregnant and went to her father to share the news. She knew he wouldn't be happy considering her age. Her family was very wealthy and Andrew was no. One thing she didn't expect is his ultimatum, get rid of that white trash baby or never set foot in his house ever again!!!! ...more
