this was just ok for me--2.5 stars. I thought the author went a bit overboard with the objections from the family to the interracial relationship. I mean Lyla's mom must have been in the 1960's when she called Jamie a "Negro" and "Colored", really. I mean, leave that crap behind closed doors. Well paced erotic romance, with just the right balance or romance and erotica. I have been searching for a good inter-racial romance, and found one in WEDNESDAY NIGHTS WITH JAMIE.

The kick off was way too soon and cliched, but it was a sweet romance nevertheless.
