We picked this up as part of the Summer Reading Triathlon at Barnes and Noble. They didn't have the Dr Seuss option at our store so my son picked this one instead.
The pictures are great, certain parts of the animals are labeled to help understand what words are referring to and theirs a glossary in the back for new terms mentioned in the book.
There's not really a story or 'facts' as the cover states, but it's a nice little book to learn about animals that we can see in the zoo and discuss.

The reason this book falls in the category informational books is because of the informational facts of jungle animals and their habitat. The illustrations are photographical to the theme of the jungle and colorful visuals.
