What a great idea! As I read the book, I took notes: what I have seen, what I missed when I watched the movie the first time and what I have not, so I can get it on Amazon or Netflix. Some have two versions 13 the original and a recent remake. I have seen both for The Day the Earth Stood Still and I LOVE Patricia Neale in the original. So what if they did not have outrageous special effects. The acting is great. I have my list now and must watch them all.
