This reviews contains some spoilers for the previous book in the Darkworld series. If you're unfamiliar with the series, you should start with Darkness Watching.

It was nice to be back with Ash at her college. Slightly different from the previous books she's no longer surrounded by the same group of friends, although some of them make an appearance during the story.

What a good read

There is so much happening. The demons almost took over ,ash mom died saving ash and her fiends.ash and friends at headed to London.

Dark. This series has definitely gotten very dark. Be prepared to go to some very deep places, both in the world and in Ash's head. Highly recommend reading.

Hard to put down.

This book was considerably more intense than the previous three books and it looks like the fifth will be even more gripping.

Holy hell this was awesome! Even though this was shorter it was still jam packed with action, drama and so many twists! Emma L. Adams is absolutely brilliant. This series is just out of this world. I love the demons, the ghouls, the spirits and just the whole use of magic. The world is beyond outstanding!
