Quinn was supposed to be this sensitive empath devoted to Sammah but it kept mentioning how Sammah touched her and she didnt like it. I really enjoyed this book it took me a few days to get through it, I didn't mind putting it down to do other things but I found the story enchanting and I liked the portrayal of Quinn though I found the instant feelings between her and Eden out of place I would have liked to see more struggle there that aside I'm curious about the next installment.

This is a brilliant new YA series that is written beautifully and captivates your imagination. All the characters are rich in description and compel you to read more. I cannot wait to read the rest of the series!
