A very helpful and practical book for those involved in any form of corporate prayer ministry. Helped to refine my vision for corporate prayer in my own church, and provided many practical pointers and outlines! Great reading from an author I respect and trust.

This should be required reading for every Christian, especially ministry leaders. There is nothing new in this book that you couldn't find in the Bible yourself. Daniel Henderson presents the necessity, power, and results of effective prayer and presents the information in a way that is easy to read and absorb.

Excellent principles to transform prayer life

Henderson presents a framework for prayer. Don’t confuse framework with formula.

He is passionate but more importantly he has been gifted to articulate how to engage God in prayer.

This was a great book about how to change prayer in your church from what is usually is (small attendance and prayer request based) to what it can be (worship based, focused on the Lord and hearing from him. I have met the author and think this book is better than his presentations in person. I really think that the church needs to take this seriously. The main issue is that the US church often acts as if they don't need God. The focus on prayer really submits the church to the Lord's will.

This book provides an inspiring vision for dynamic, worship-based prayer. Reading this book will fuel your desire to seek God for who he is rather than only for what he can do for you. Henderson offers practical guidelines to accompany the inspiration that will transform stale church prayer times into dynamic, fresh encounters with God.

Wonderful book about worship-based prayer. Daniel was my pastor early on in my Christian walk. His heart and soul bleed for God honoring prayer and revival in our lives, in our churches, in our nation, and in our world. I highly recommend this book!

Excellent book for prayer leaders. Inspiring and practical. Henderson has a great depth of experience as a prayer leader. He does not offer pie-in-the-sky ideas but ideas that will work in practically any church setting.

In these pages, Henderson quotes Murray, Spurgeon and Bounds. He draws from 20 years of prayer-meeting leadership to elucidate proven principles from a life of encountering God through worship-based intercession.

This book gave me so many ideas on how to pray for our church that I am not quite sure where to start. Picked two strategies to try in the upcoming weeks and will go from there.
