This book has a very good message about acceptance. Although the bears didn't think they would originally like the skunk, they turned out to be very good neighbors. I think this book can teach kids a lot. I remember reading this book as a child and not seeing the deeper message.

My mom read these books to me when I was little. My brother and I had the Golden Books sets.

Awesome

Shows true meaning of being a good neighbor.☺. Gives good lessons about being nice. I recommend this book to kindergarten to 1st.grade

We loved it

My daughter and I really enjoyed this book, thank you. We are just getting started with Berenstain bears books, can't wait to read more!
