I very much enjoyed this little interlude. It was almost like hearing a fairy tale. Although, this novella has an open ending. There is definitely more to this than just a side story of Ken'ishi's travel to Otomo no Tsunetomo's castle. It also leaves a lot of unanswered questions. I am eager to dive into the final installment of the Ronin trilogy and see how all of this relates to the story.
