A few interesting blocks, some old style, but I like the contemporary for scrap usage!

An interesting concept, using 14 different quilt designers to create unique quilts using fat quarters. Along with the basic quilt each person created, they also include several set and color variations of each. Unfortunately, although the cutting instructions call for fat quarters, the designs don’t lend themselves to the pretty FQ collections fabric manufacturers sell. Often only 3 or 4 colors are used rather than the 15 or more found in a FQ collection. Most of the quilts are okay but nothing extraordinary.

There are some great quilts in this book. My fave designer, Debbie Caffrey, has one in it too...cannot wait!

Fun to see designs from so many different artists. Good instructions, haven't tried to make any of them yet.

There are good ideas for quilts, but not many actual quilts, just what look like computer generated variations. I like to see real fabrics.

This was fun to look at, but the patterns are too advanced for the quilting level at which I am willing to work. Maybe in a few years when I have more hours in the day at leisure.
