Brandon
Honest book that deals with issues between the charismatic and evangelical divide in regards to developing a relationship with Christ. Has a lot of testimonies interlaced by conservative theological scholarship. A good book overall

I read this book back in 2000.. I think it is a good read on the importance of balance in the church. Some churches focus on the law or the Word of God so much they don't even pay attention to the Holy Spirit while other churches focus so much on the Spirit, or the Spirit experience and not enough on the word.

A healthy and biblical church in balanced. I have not read this in a long time and I want to go back and read it agian.

Tries to make the "divide" between the Evangelical church and the Charismatic church to black and white. It makes them each caricatures instead of what they really are.
