This books is about the famous nursery rhyme of twinkle, twinkle, little star. This digital text allows you to download the book onto you iPad as you can read it or even listen to it. The book has the nursery rhyme in picture formate as well.
I would include this book in my classroom library because it would be a way for my students to use a digital text within the classroom. They also could learn about the famous nursery rhyme by looking through the vivid pictures that the whole provides.
A teaching point for this book would be to use this digital text for poetry and talking about the different characteristics for poetry. At the end of the lesson, have your students to write their own piece of poetry.

November 28, 2017Summary: This book is known because of the famous nursery rhyme. This digital text makes it possible for people to download it to their devises and read it from home, school, ect. You can choose to listen to it or read the nursery rhyme.
Evaluation: I’m not really sure if I would use this in my library. It is cool that it is on digital text but I am sure I could find some better options for my students. This would be fine to do with a kindergarten class but I would not do it with any other grade.

3. This picture book is a version of the classic nursery rhyme, "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star."
4. I like this book because the pictures are beautifully painted and captures a timeless classic. This particular version uses holes in the page to allow "starlight" to peek through, which is a nice touch. The repetitive nature of the lyrics (as well as the familiarity) allows children to follow along easily and participate in the reading/singing.
5. This book could be used in a poetry/music/nursery rhyme unit, could be sung as a class, or could be used as a transitional song to guide children through actions such as clean up or gathering their things for lunch.

This book is already well known due to the famous nursery rhyme. This children's book is exactly the same as the nursery rhyme. It is about children talking to a star, wondering what it is and how it got there.
Evaluation:
Since this book is exactly like the nursery rhyme, it is a little awkward to read without singing. However, the pictures are illustrated very beautifully.
Teaching point:
I would use this to introduce a lesson about science and the solar system. In the song / book it says "how I wonder what you are", so through this the students could explore what a star really is.

Twinkle, twinkle little star is a classic rhyme. This is a simple book, and any beginning reader will enjoy. The book puts a spin on the classic. The book is told in a song form about Christmas time and the children sing this song to show how the light of the star has guided Santa and his elves into the home of children around the world. I couldn't help but sing along to the words in the books. I enjoyed that aspect and can see reading this book to preschoolers.

This book has multiple nursery rhymes inside and a CD that correlates. The pictures do the talking in this book because the words are in the songs as well. There is not really a plot in this kind of book. The benefits of having a book with such explicit images and a CD is that kids can see and hear the story. Kids are likely to be drawn to this as it is fun and they can be so involved. Being involved and engaged is when we learn most.

This book is the song Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star with pictures. This a great easy read book because most children learn the words to the song before they can read, this book can give children the confidence when reading. The can start to use the words of the song they know and recognize them on the pages of the book.

Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star was a classic nursey rhyme that was recited to me as a toddler. I wasn't sure what to expect when opening the book, but the Christmas spin on the poem was a cute touch for younger children. Having the star lead Santa where to go was extremely cute, but not one of my favorites. However, I am not much of a Christmas person so that is where the disconnect may be.

A good poetry book about the famous nursery rhymes of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. This book has good illustrations and classic rhymes. This is good for a beginning reader. The illustrations really help tell the story. A good classic!

This traditional children's song is delightfully illustrated by Annie Kubler with children from around the world all under the night sky. It contains cutouts that glow in the dark for lights and animal eyes. Although the pages aren't cardboard, they are made with heavy paper for hard use.

The classic nursery rhyme, but with a couple additional verses and we look around the world sharing the same night sky. The eyes are a little creepy with the book's holes, but a wide array of eyes/spotlights/etc.

I feel that this is a pretty good book for children to read. It helps the children learn about the stars where they are, where they come from and what they are doing when they can't be seen.

This is a great beginning readers book. It goes through the twinkle twinkle little star nursery rhyme that we all know. But there are pictures that show a story to go along with it.

I read Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and really adored it. I went to sing it to first graders, it was the first time that I have read in front of a classroom, at first I was really embarrassed but after a while I enjoyed being around all those little kids; it was an amazing experience. All the kids had an enormous amount of fun singing the song with me, and looking at the pictures of the book. I’m looking forward to have another experience like this one. I would really recommend other student to read to little kids because it’s really exiting.
