A thoroughly enjoyable read which is still quite relevant when using a digital SLR. There are lots of great practical tips you can use to improve your images.

1st Read: December 25, 2003 - December 27, 2003
I have mostly read through this book in pieces. From what I can see it is right up there with THE PHOTOGRAPHER'S HANDBOOK, that one being more easy to take along with you in the field, as it is a smaller book. This book by John Freeman is large and cumbersome. Other than that, I have no problems with it.
