This book helps one realize the inner potential one could count on. It nurtures the self-confidence and never-say-never attitude. The USP of this book is its simple language and its capacity to inspire without being preachy. It is just a plain simple story of a common man who dealt with all that the life had to offer and managed to evolve as a successful individual. The fact that this is a real life account adds the necessary trust factor.

I felt the modesty of the author has interfered with communication of the determination one needs in order to achieve this. It is no easy feat to stay focused while in the middle of the puddle. It would have been lot more useful if there was special focus on the strategies employed to stay tuned. The NDA modified DNA helped Sidhanth but not everyone is fortunate enough.

An amazing, engrossing, entertaining account of the indomitable spirit of an army man overcoming all odds. After reading the book, one truly believes that there is no limit to human enudurance. Despite the motivational element, at no point the book gets preachy or philosophical and remains breezy and light. Outstanding debut by the author, who at all points has a handle on the reader's mind and expertly engages everyone in his journey.

Beautiful, simple, straight from the heart and definitely a must read!!!

A great read for an EXNDA who want to relive there days and think about beautiful old memories of academy. The author has mentioned his journey and how by sheer luck of fate he falls down, but he rises back and shows the world once a soldier always a soldier. The never dying spirit of the gentlemen, makes you motivated and do much more for your life

Don't give up. Ever.

Interesting book that gives an idea about life at NDA, IMA and IIM-A. Also, a good example of 'never give up' attitude.

The book was a gift from a dear friend. She was reading it, and when I asked her if it was good, sent a copy to me immediately. Unfortunately, I have gone beyond books such as this. While the intentions were certainly good, my mind kept straying and I galloped on to the end. But I can see how the book will work for other people.
