Who knew the girl who spent most of her Saturday nights watching Doctor Who marathons with her best friend would end up becoming a reality television star? Not Emma MacLean.

Emma tried to leave the nerdy girl behind as the Vice President of Operations for billionaire venture capitalist, Terrance Hunt, on the hit show Hunt for Life. When double tragedies occur on the same da

Seemingly out of nowhere a sweet little book fairy named Lindsey dropped an ARC called Nerdy Girl Nation in my lap (well, on my kindle). It had this awesome pink/purple cover with bling so I was immediately intrigued. If it looked that good on the outside it had to be good on the inside too, right?
OH YEAHHHH.
Emma MacLean is a nerd. But she is the type of nerd most of us can relate to. She likes to stay home in comfy clothes, watch Doctor Who, build with Legos and she has a home office full of a

This is my first book by Lindsey Gray but by no means my last! I loved the cover its bright and stunning but the story inside has its dark spots so don't be fooled.

Emma is shocked when she finds herself a reality star! She never thought the world would identify with all of her nerdyness! She loves her legos and LOTR and Doctor Who! Emma was bullied in high school some of it was you typical mean girl stuff but then there was the attack! Kn

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Lindsey's. I've had the honor of editing for her twice and I've read all her books. She's an amazing storyteller, but this book blew me away. Nerdy Girl Nation had me engaged from the first sentence. I'm a nerd, I'm raising nerds, so I totally and completely related to Emma. She was me. What I loved the most about this book was the realness of the characters: they aren't perfect and don't pretend otherwise. I don't want to give away too much, but if you're ...more

This book has so much potential, but when the main character suddenly decides after twelve years of torture to admit she's being stalked and harassed because she's got a new boyfriend, that seems to me like the author didn't do their homework. The H/h lack chemistry, and there are many chapters that aren't necessary to the story. Aside from that, the writing is okay. I finished the novel because I had to know who done it, but really, that is all that kept me going and even it lacked luster becau ...more

Cute, sweet, a little suspenseful, Nerdy Girl Nation will speak to the wrestling enthusiast. This is a story about a woman overcoming her past and moving on in her career and love. With many pop culture references to comic books, cult-classic films, and "nerd" comedy television, there is something to peak the nerd girl's attention, even if you don't like wrestling.

Lindsey Gray spends her days and most of her nights creating characters, over thinking everything, and trying to remember all the things on her massive to-do list. One thing that is always at the top of her list is writing something she hopes others will enjoy. Her journey into authordom began when her first novel was published in 2010. Through trials, tribulations, and learning how to work well w ...more
