Laura writes about spies, murder, and mystery. She’s the author of the exciting Circle of Spies Series, the Prom Impossible Series, and the Heist time travel mystery series. She’s a former elementary teacher and currently lives in New England. After spending time reading books to her kids and loving a good plot turn, she put her fingers to the keyboard. Don’t ask her about the unfinished quilts and scrapbooks. Stories are way more exciting.

She writes to entertain and experience a great story…and to be able to work in her jammies and slippers.

The Holly Hart Cozy Mystery Series releases starting in May 2015!

This was really good. Holly and friends (and Frenemy) are getting ready for Christmas when Holly goes to Wetzler's Christmas Tree farm to get a real Christmas Tree and finds a dead body instead. But then the body disappears. Things get a little crazy when Holly agrees with Trent to not investigate on her own for safety's sake, but then ends up working with Madelline, her sometimes friend and mainly enemy (who wants to get Trent for herself), and her boyfriend, Russell, as well as Trent and the mystery club to figure out what really happened. All this and double dates with Madelline and Russell are enough to make Holly (and the reader) crazy! Read it! It's funny and delightful and all that a cozy mystery should be.

Book 4 and still cute, but still totally predictable. Charlene is still grumpy (but kind of cute since she started dating Pierre). Millicent is still up to her old tricks. And Holly is still dating Trent, selling cheesecake, and solving murders. I hope at some point we finally learn about her past.

Holiday turned deadly

All Holly wants to do is cross items off her bucket list & enjoy the upcoming Christmas season. Unfortunately she finds herself in the middle of trouble again. Pick up a copy to see how it works out. I’m looking forward to the next book.

Loved it! There were some spelling and punctuation errors which seem to be pretty common in e-books. In spite of that, I still love this series. The characters are interesting, and the stories are great!

A Christmas Mystery and A Happy Ending

I enjoyed this holiday themed story very much. I like the way Holly and Millicent seem to be getting friendlier in this book even though they have been rivals and enemies in the past. I especially liked the way the book ended on a happy, positive note. Now I am anxious to read the next book in the series.
