I don’t date rockers. Don’t sleep with them. Don’t even swap spit. I’ve been working as a band booker at Trouble -- the coolest indie rock club in town -- long enough to know what a bunch of screwed up, egotistical jerks they are. Some of them might seem okay at first but that’s just because they've learnt to hide it better than others.

That would be fine if Razer didn't k

Too Many Rock Stars is book #1 in the Access All Areas series, I was gifted a copy of the book to read for Gemma Reads Too Much.

Ok I’m not in the mood to mince my words so I’m just gonna come straight out with it….

This book was rubbish!!!

The plot is thin to say the least and the writings not great either. Violets a man hater but when we find out what the great big thing was that made her that way it was a monumental let down!!

I've read pretty much all of Candy's other books and I quite enjoyed the stories.. This one.. I can't say the same. I was looking forward to reading it but once I started I quickly realized it was not going to be the same caliber as her previous books. Violet is wisy washy and pretty bitchy. Even when being helped shes still bitching. Raze, could be ok, but I stopped reading the book about 20% of the way thru so I dont know if he stays that way. Alex just seems like a straight up douche from the ...more

Razer had a plan to get Violet to take a chance with the chemistry between them, he had not counted on another rocker named Alex to interfere. Violet vowed never to get involved with another rocker, but both Razer and Alex have made their intent evident. When she becomes a prize in order to save the club, she realizes her heart is becoming involved.

Interesting read Violet was not overly warm to Razer but she has her reasons. I liked the dynamic of Razer and Alex having to win Violet. Overall goo

The story line had promise. A girl who manages band playing in a club that is going under. Two guys that are both into her and you get to see their POVs. but that being said I really couldn't connect to the characters in this book. I'm not a big fan of love triangles but this one didn't bother me since I didn't love either of the guys. The book just ended and even with a preview to the next book I don't think I will continue.

I absolutely loved this book! I got pulled in on the first page and by the time I was 20% done I was hooked. Could not put it down! It was funny and sweet and very moving. There was a lot going on and it kept you moving constantly. Loved it. (team Razor all the way)

This did not work for me. I like when I see the characters first meet. These two characters already know each other. You may love it. I just can't connect if there is a relationship there and I did not see initially how it all started.

I requested to reread this novel as a Beta reader and enjoyed it even more. The way the main characters spoke to the reader as well as each other helped to develop their personalities better. The subtle love story was fun yet heartfelt and well worth the read. Plan on reading next book in the series as the story continues. It does end with a bit of a cliffhanger.

Just all right.

This book didn't knock my boots off or anything. It was just okay! Maybe the next book about Charlie will be better.

Sexy rock stars

Two rock stars fighting for Violets attention. Will she finally relax and try and have some fun and let the guys swoon her. Who will be at top... I have a soft spot for both ...

Fun filled story

This is a heartwarming story of a band manager and how she finally realized who she is love with. You root for the band member throughout the story.

As a reader obsessed with rock star romances I was drawn to this first installment in the Access All Areas series and its promise of a sexy love triangle. With characters larger than life and a battle of the bands to win a strong-willed woman's heart this story succeeded on some levels while in other ways I was left wanting.

Violet learned her lesson when it comes to dating rock stars and she's sworn to never do it again. Now all she cares about is work and trying to keep the club she works for f

I would like to start this review by thanking the author and the Goodreads New Adult Book Club Read It Review It Programme for allowing me to read this book.

This book told the story of Violet a band booker for a club called Trouble who's owner is facing money trouble.

I enjoyed the multiple pov in this book because it was nice getting the story from the point of view of the three main characters Violet, Rezza (Rock star) and Alex (Rock star) and I thought the book as a whole was a good start to w

Violet doesn’t date or sleep with rockers. She made that mistake once and it almost cost her her job as a band booker for Trouble and she is not about to make that mistake again. Trouble is the coolest indie rock club in town. If you want to become known, you need to get Violet to book your band.

Razer has been attracted to Violet for a long while but she just isn’t interested. Even with the cold shoulder he receives, he isn’t going to give up on her. Razer is determined to melt her cold heart.

If you want to escape reality & delve into the bizarre world of clubs, bands, wannabe rock stars, & love triangles then this is for you.
Violet organises the upcoming bookings at a club aptly named 'Trouble' .. her vow is not to get involved with any of the clients.

When the club hits hard times two of the guys place a bet to see which one will get to date Violet .. Razer or Alex .. the story is told from each of their points of view. While it's an easy read with a few entertaining moments

*I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review from the New Adult Book Club*

I really enjoy rockstar books, but this one seemed to fall a bit flat to me. Violet is the band booker for the club Trouble. Violet has sworn to stay away from anything rocker because of one BIG mistake in the past. When two rockers, Alex and Razer, start a competition for Violet's heart will they be able to persuade her to break her number one rule?

Soooooo, I didn't really care for the characters,

It took me a little while to get into this book, and I was tempted to stop reading in the beginning. It does pick up near the middle, but I still found myself not really able to connect with most of the characters. Violet books bands at a club for a living, and she absolutely does not date rockers. When the club ends up in trouble, she is pressured into agreeing to the terms of a contest between the two rockers who won’t leave her alone, Alex and Razer. The prize is a date with her. While this s ...more

I've read some of Candy's other rock star stories and have enjoyed them very much. 'Too Many Rock Stars' is another great addition, and I can tell that this series is going to be another big winner.

Violet works for the club Trouble, she books bands for the club. She loves what she does even though the pays not that good and she doesn't have much time for fun. She'd like to have the chance for a relationship, but doesn't have the time, and there will be no rock stars for her, thank you very much!

I have read a few other books by Candy and have enjoyed them. For the most part this one does not disappoint either. I did enjoy it, but the heroine Violet frustrated me more than a few times.

Violet works as the band booker for the club Trouble. She loves her job, even though she can barely make ends meet and she has no life outside of her job. She loves what she does and she does it well. She comes across as a tough as nails bitch, but deep down you can tell that she wants some sort of companio

I received "Too Many Rockstars" as an ARC for an honest review. Violet seems to be more or less married to her job, but she doesn't date rockstars because of an incident from her past. Razer has been in love with Violet since the moment he saw her, but he hasn't told her that. When he decides it's time to make his move, in walks Alex & he wants her too. The main characters are violet, raze, and Alex. The love triangle didn't work for me.

First off violet is a bitch and even when needy help she is a bitch. I could not connect with her. Raze is ok but doesn't live up to the rocker persona. He is a little mushy to me. Candy J. Starr used to be a band manager until she realised that the band she managed was so lacking in charisma that they actually sucked the charisma out of any room they played. “Screw you,” she said, leaving them to wallow in obscurity – totally forgetting that they owed her big bucks for video equipment hire.

Candy has filmed and interviewed some big names in the rock business, and a lot of sm
