I don’t date rockers. Don’t sleep with them. Don’t even swap spit. I’ve been working as a band booker at Trouble -- the coolest indie rock club in town -- long enough to know what a bunch of screwed up, egotistical jerks they are. Some of them might seem okay at first but that’s just because they've learnt to hide it better than others.

That would be fine if Razer didn't k

Too Many Rock Stars is book #1 in the Access All Areas series, I was gifted a copy of the book to read for Gemma Reads Too Much.

Ok I’m not in the mood to mince my words so I’m just gonna come straight out with it….

This book was rubbish!!!

The plot is thin to say the least and the writings not great either. Violets a man hater but when we find out what the great big thing was that made her that way it was a monumental let down!!
I've read pretty much all of Candy's other books and I quite enjoyed the stories.. This one.. I can't say the same. I was looking forward to reading it but once I started I quickly realized it was not going to be the same caliber as her previous books. Violet is wisy washy and pretty bitchy. Even when being helped shes still bitching. Raze, could be ok, but I stopped reading the book about 20% of the way thru so I dont know if he stays that way. Alex just seems like a straight up douche from the ...more

Pretty good. Hard to put down while reading. Full review on Lisa Loves Literature soon.
Razer had a plan to get Violet to take a chance with the chemistry between them, he had not counted on another rocker named Alex to interfere. Violet vowed never to get involved with another rocker, but both Razer and Alex have made their intent evident. When she becomes a prize in order to save the club, she realizes her heart is becoming involved.

Interesting read Violet was not overly warm to Razer but she has her reasons. I liked the dynamic of Razer and Alex having to win Violet. Overall goo

The story line had promise. A girl who manages band playing in a club that is going under. Two guys that are both into her and you get to see their POVs. but that being said I really couldn't connect to the characters in this book. I'm not a big fan of love triangles but this one didn't bother me since I didn't love either of the guys. The book just ended and even with a preview to the next book I don't think I will continue.

This did not work for me. I like when I see the characters first meet. These two characters already know each other. You may love it. I just can't connect if there is a relationship there and I did not see initially how it all started.

I absolutely loved this book! I got pulled in on the first page and by the time I was 20% done I was hooked. Could not put it down! It was funny and sweet and very moving. There was a lot going on and it kept you moving constantly. Loved it. (team Razor all the way)

One girl caught between two hot rock stars.

Violet knew rock stars, which is precisely why she always strived to stay away from them, always putting them in their place whenever they got too near. But it’s kind of hard when you’re a band booker for a night club. “If I had one problem in this life, it was too many rock stars.”

For Razer, Violet’s always been the one for him. If she’d just give him a chance, he’d show her how good they’d be together and how well he’d treat her with breakfasts in be

I've read many books by this author because I'm a sucker for a rock star and I have always been a fan of Ms. Starr. Well, in this book you get two rockers along with the workaholic booking manager for the club. Both long time lead singer Razor and the new hottie rocker Alex are vying for Violet's affection. The one rule Violet has is no messing around with the rockers.

Violet came across as a b*tch which was hard to swallow. I really did love Razor though. Even though this book didn't

I wasn’t to crazy about this book or this story so I’m not going to bother with the other books in the series. Violet is beautiful and sexy but she’s also
A very hard worker. She has rules about dating rock stars which is nuts because she practically lives at this dive. Razer and Alex are the two rockers vying for her attention. The stakes are high to see who wins, this story started out well but bored me to death around the middle. This story just kept bouncing from one to the other and not in a

I requested to reread this novel as a Beta reader and enjoyed it even more. The way the main characters spoke to the reader as well as each other helped to develop their personalities better. The subtle love story was fun yet heartfelt and well worth the read. Plan on reading next book in the series as the story continues. It does end with a bit of a cliffhanger.
This is a very enjoyable book from Candy J. Starr and I was hooked from the start. It has an interesting, engrossing, well written storyline that just pulled me into the pages. The characters were very likeable, engaging and I loved the chemistry and interaction between them. This is an enjoyable, romantic rock star book. It definitely kept me interested while reading

A couple of years ago, I read Rock Revenge (book 4 in this series) but never went back and read the books that had come before it. I wanted to love Violet but it just never happened. She has these two men completely infatuated with her but I could never quite put my finger on why. I think she's supposed to come off as prickly but instead, she comes off as awful and mean most of the time.

The best part of this story is Razer. He might be a rockstar but he's also a big, soft teddy bear an

This is a heartwarming story of a band manager and how she finally realized who she is love with. You root for the band member throughout the story.

As a reader obsessed with rock star romances I was drawn to this first installment in the Access All Areas series and its promise of a sexy love triangle. With characters larger than life and a battle of the bands to win a strong-willed woman's heart this story succeeded on some levels while in other ways I was left wanting.

Violet learned her lesson when it comes to dating rock stars and she's sworn to never do it again. Now all she cares about is work and trying to keep the club she works for f

This book told the story of Violet a band booker for a club called Trouble who's owner is facing money trouble.

I enjoyed the multiple pov in this book because it was nice getting the story from the point of view of the three main characters Violet, Rezza (Rock star) and Alex (Rock star) and I thought the book as a whole was a good start to w

Welcome to The Trouble. When you step through these doors you can rock out with hot, sensual, indie rock stars. Who knows you may get lucky.

Violet lives and breaths work. She schedules all of the rock bands for The Trouble. Even though around enough panty melting alpha rock stars she sticks to her rules. NO dating a rock star. Razer frequently performs at the club and has his eye on Violet. He will stop at nothing to convince her for a date. Enters Alex, the mysterious rocker with a past no one

🎼🎶🎵🎤 Too Many Rockstars is a problem, why??? 🎶🎤🎵🎶

Since discovering Candy J Starr’s first book, I have been an avid reader, and I believe she is a hugely talented yet underrated voice in the world of Rockstar books.

I loved Violet’s book the first time, and have adored reading it in it’s new clothes. She has a softer edge this time round, and I admire her character of perceived strength that fiercely guards a rarely seen vulnerability. She is all about the music, and loves the opportunity to book

Violet doesn’t date or sleep with rockers. She made that mistake once and it almost cost her her job as a band booker for Trouble and she is not about to make that mistake again. Trouble is the coolest indie rock club in town. If you want to become known, you need to get Violet to book your band.

Razer has been attracted to Violet for a long while but she just isn’t interested. Even with the cold shoulder he receives, he isn’t going to give up on her. Razer is determined to melt her cold heart.

It took me a little while to get into this book, and I was tempted to stop reading in the beginning. It does pick up near the middle, but I still found myself not really able to connect with most of the characters. Violet books bands at a club for a living, and she absolutely does not date rockers. When the club ends up in trouble, she is pressured into agreeing to the terms of a contest between the two rockers who won’t leave her alone, Alex and Razer. The prize is a date with her. While this s ...more

If you want to escape reality & delve into the bizarre world of clubs, bands, wannabe rock stars, & love triangles then this is for you.
Violet organises the upcoming bookings at a club aptly named 'Trouble' .. her vow is not to get involved with any of the clients.

When the club hits hard times two of the guys place a bet to see which one will get to date Violet .. Razer or Alex .. the story is told from each of their points of view. While it's an easy read with a few entertaining moments I never

I really enjoy rockstar books, but this one seemed to fall a bit flat to me. Violet is the band booker for the club Trouble. Violet has sworn to stay away from anything rocker because of one BIG mistake in the past. When two rockers, Alex and Razer, start a competition for Violet's heart will they be able to persuade her to break her number one rule?

Soooooo, I didn't really care for the characters,

Candy J.
