Raboff was also an actor known for Peter Gunn (1958), The Man Called X (1956) and Adventures in Paradise (1959).

I got this book as a gift when I was a kid and I remember reading it over and over again. The color reproductions were really delightful and a lot of the text (if not all) is hand lettered which made it feel really lovely and familiar. I love running into books I loved as a kid!
