Amelia’s Children is Greta Cribbs’ debut novel and after reading it I am convinced, she will have a bright future! It was a fantastic paranormal mystery worth all of the five stars!

Holy Moly what a book! I started it and could not put it down. This author has spun a tale here that will have you guessing on every page. This is my first book by this author but will not be my last, this story flowed perfectly, and I fell in love with the characters.
In a small town in Georgia, Amelia was murdered, the case is still unsolved 30 years later. There are rumors and speculation but no concrete answers.

Wow, for a first try, this is an amazing book. I’m giving Amelia’s Children a fantastic five star rating.
What a great plot and what a great mystery. I love a mystery and Greta Cribbs delivers. Amelia’s Children in an amazing paranormal mystery. Amelia's Children by Greta Cribbs is a paranormal story. I am a sucker for a good paranormal story and I found the synopsis to be very intriguing. Amelia Davis is brutally murdered and her murderer is never caught. So when a man named David shows up in town asking questions eye brows are raised. I like a good hit of paranormal romance. It injects some variety into my reading palette, and the synopsis for this book certainly piqued my interest. In some ways, however, I thought that the synopsis over-sold the book a little bit.

I enjoyed her writing style, her attention for details and her ability to write a thriller that just keeps you glued to your seat but yet biting your nails to waiting to see what will happen next. 30 years ago Amelia Davis was brutally murdered and her murder never caught. Today, a stranger, David Jenson shows up in town on “personal business”. He is asking a lot of questions, could he have a connection to the 30 year murder?

Sarah Hathaway has just returned home after three years of trying to become an actress. When she meets him, she is instantly drawn to him but she wonders why he is here. She is determined to find the answers so she starts a journey that will change her life forever. Along the way, she discovers more about the brutal murder of Amelia. Will everyone handle the truth about Amelia murder?

David and Sarah's relationship is one of mystery to start with. We don't get to know to much about David in the beginning as he keeps it to himself. She stays up at night trying to figure out why he is here. Once they start their journey together, their develop a friendship but will it become more? There are always questions and more questions. Will they ever find the answers? Their connection to each other is pretty strong, I don't think that either one really understands why. What connection does he have with Amelia, if any? Are they opening up something that is better left alone? Find out what happens with them and if they are able to put Amelia to rest.

This is my first story by Greta Cribbs and I know that I will be digging into more of her books. I enjoyed her style of writing and her ability to write a thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat almost the whole time. Greta has worn many hats over the years, things from being a mom to school teacher to church choir director. But she has held her passion for writing the longest. She created her first poem at the age of nine and has not stopped creating since. You will enjoy how she created a fast paced story will keep you reading until the end. I totally lost track of time while reading this. You won't want to miss what is behind every page. What is lurking in the shadows for these characters next? Amelia’s Children is a mind-blowing paranormal thriller, by Greta Cribbs. This book has so much suspense, mystery, drama and intrigue- it was gut wrenching, heart breaking, truly compelling- and gave me a severe dose of the chills. I had read the blurb and thought the story sounded quite good, but the blurb really undersold this brilliant book, it was so much better than I ever imagined… My eyes were glued to the pages, I couldn’t tear them away, and I needed to know what happened almost 5 Stars

David Jensen has arrived in Laurel Hill, Georgia, where his presence has sparked a lot of curiosity from the small town inhabitants. No one knows where he came from or why he’s there, and he doesn’t let on too much, except to say he’s there on personal business.
Sarah Hathaway has recently returned to her home town after being gone for the past three years, trying to make it big in Hollywood. But she couldn’t make it work, coming home feeling like a failure, and working in her parent’s restaurant. She doesn’t belong in Hollywood, but she doesn’t feel like she belongs in Laurel Hill either. She dreams of finding her niche and somewhere she ‘belongs’.
When she meets David, she is immediately intrigued and her curiosity gets the better of her. He doesn’t give much away, but she’s determined to figure out why he’s in town. David feels a connection to Sarah and starts to open up to her. Sarah can’t help wondering if he has a connection to the town’s famous 30 year old cold case- the murder of Amelia Davis- whose body was found in the woods on the outskirts of town.
As Sarah digs deeper, she and David find themselves set on a path that will lead them into unknown danger, changing their lives forever. Why is David in town? Is he connected to the case? What do they discover? What happened to Amelia?
Ms. Cribbs really did a fantastic job with this story. The plot was so complex and had so much happening in it- but she coordinated it all into an exciting and captivating read. She has such a great eye for detail and a truly limitless imagination.
I really don’t want to say too much more, because I don’t want to give away any spoilers, I think the less you know going into this story, the better. It is that good!

The story Amelia's Children by Greta Cribbs is a paranormal/mystery/romance book. This is an amazing story. I love to read stories about the paranormal and this is a book that is irresistible from the beginning and had me quickly turning pages to find out all the answers. This story starts with a stranger’s appearance in town asking questions and then begins to revolve around a 30-year-old murder whose killer has never been caught. Caught up in this story is a young woman who has returned home after an attempt to be an actress and others in the town as well. Will the killer finally be caught?

Not only did I love the storyline, I also loved the characters of David Jenson and Sarah Hathaway. Sarah is someone who left home to follow her dreams and now has returned. When she first meets David she feels an instant connection to him, however, can’t understand why. She is determined to find out why David is there. This puts her on a journey that leads to more questions involving a murder and danger. Even while pursuing answers, she finds her attraction to David growing stronger. What is in the cards for David and Sarah? Where will her investigation into the murder of Amelia Davis lead her?

David is such a mysterious character when he is first introduced in the book. He doesn’t give out much information and what he does only leaves you with more questions. He also feels a connection with Sarah as he begins to open up to her. Just what brought David to the town of Laurel Hill? Does it have anything to do with the murder of Amelia Davis?

This book is filled with mystery, adventure, and danger. It will have you sitting on the edge of your seat wanting to know all the answers. This is the first book I have read by the author and I find that she has an amazing writing style and has created characters that you can get behind and root for their success all the way. Read this book to find out if a 30-year-old mystery is solved.

This is a quick page turner paranormal mystery with a dash of romance. I love the prologue. I think when they're done right they can be a wonderful segue into a story but they can also cause too many questions for a reader. This one was done just right!

Amelia’s Children by Greta Cribbs was unlike anything I’ve read in awhile! It’s my first by this author and I usually just go for straight romance so this was unique for me. I went into this story blind, just off of a recommendation of a friend. I didn't realize the genre until some of the plot was revealed. I read everything so I was fine with it, just surprised. Amelia's children is fast-paced, although, I did find myself skimming past a few parts that seemed repeated. There are mystery, suspense, and paranormal aspects that blend together well!
