Persian (Farsi) first grade reader geared to children living outside of Iran. The author, Lily Ayman, created the textbooks used in Iranian public schools before the 1979 revolution. The book is completely in Persian.
Now that I am finished with this book, I can officially read Farsi on a first grade level, haha. This book isn't really meant for self-teaching, but it's a great resource if you have someone who can help you or if you are smarter than I am and can learn it on your own. Another option if you don't have a friend who speaks the language is a tutor via iTalki or similar platform. I think it is designed more for children of Farsi speakers who grow up in English-speaking countries, but as an adult native English speaker, I found it to be a great way to learn to read Farsi. As a side note, I used How to Write in Persian by Nazanin Mirsadeghi and made flashcards of the alphabet as a precursor to using this book, and I think it worked very well.
