This is one of my favorite books, is well written and inspiring. I love the romance in it. I highly recommend this book!

Great book
A familiar yet new tale. The book takes the reader into the hearts and minds of people trapped in an evil country where Christians are being annihilated. It felt personal because of the individuals and it felt gigantic because of the threats and truths it portrayed. Thank you for writing it.

Thought provoking
This book is an absolute page turner. I couldn't put it down. Tragedy and love are woven together so intricately in this tale of hope found in a world of injustice. I was so amazed at how many emotions it brought to the surface for me. The author took a horrible history and placed it in the here and now, making it so real. I got to know the characters and cried over them, rejoiced with them. Sheritta truly is a talented author and I can not wait to read more from her

Imagine a place where Christians are treated worse than animals, are only allowed to live in ghettos, and can get sent to work or death camps for any trivial offense. Like the Jewish holocaust, but for Christians. That is the premise of this book with a love story thrown in.
Well written and very scary to imagine, especially because this really goes on in some countries.
