Graveyards is a doorway. It is an opening from this world into the next. As we draw nearer and nearer to Halloween, you’ll be tempted to step through the doorway where you will waltz with skeletons, follow death into his dark crypts and finally, solve the mystery of Lisa and how she got squashed. The conversation in Lisa Got Squashed alone make this collection worth the read. Witty and disturbing, a combo I’ve come to expected from this author. Mav Skye really draws the reader in to worlds where skeletons may just dance out of their graves and even the bodies that do stay buried just keep causing trouble.

Super Awesome

This was one of the scariest books by this author that I've read. The first story really creeped me out to the max!, not surprising since I live next to a graveyard. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is a horror fan and likes a good scare.

When Mav Skye isn't turning innocent characters into axe murderers, refinishing old furniture, chasing around her spring ducklings, or reading the latest horror novel, she's hosting the new horror story podcast, Dark Softly Tales. She adores puppies, pirates, skulls, red hots, Tarantino movies and yes, Godzilla. Especially Godzilla. ...more
