I borrowed The New Smart Approach to Kitchen Design from my local library in preparation for an upcoming kitchen remodel. As a novice to remodeling I found some of the information and tips helpful, but I still have a long way to go in feeling truly knowledgeable about planning for a new kitchen. I enjoyed looking at the many photographs throughout the book, though, and flagged a few pages to refer back to at a later time. Overall, I recommend the book for remodeling newbies like me, but I would suggest borrowing rather than buying it.
