I really liked this book. Since I love geology and archaeology, plus very interested in knowing more about the First Nations in general, this book gave me insight into those who populated Grand Canyon, along with what has been discovered about the way these people survived and well thought out hypothoses as to and when why they left. For being such a short book, there were very good diagrams, photographs, and explanations. I have been to Grand Canyon as a tourist on the south rim. Now I know a little more about its populations over several millennia.

2016 Hmmm! I don't remember reading this book before now, but here is the living proof that I did! And my feelings are the same as above. A good first look at the peoples who populated Grand Canyon long before Europeans entered the scene.
