In my debut novel, I not only set up a trilogy, but also plant the seeds for a connected universe of stories set in the fictional small town of Ravenwood. As a lover of horror, I had a blast writing Sheree's story, surprising (and scaring) even myself with the words coming out of my head. Every time I reread Deadly Rhymes I rediscover little Easter eggs I planted for the Ravenwood Series, of which this trilogy is the beginning of.
Cory Blystone lives in Vancouver, Washington with his husband Greg, their dogs Chuck and Sunny, and flock of chickens named after Buffy the Vampire Slayer characters. When not teaching high school English, he enjoys writing, drawing, painting, reading, quilting, gardening, making absurd videos for YouTube, reading, rapping, cooking, baking, oh, and reading.
