In my debut novel, I not only set up a trilogy, but also plant the seeds for a connected universe of stories set in the fictional small town of Ravenwood. As a lover of horror, I had a blast writing Sheree's story, surprising (and scaring) even myself with the words coming out of my head. Every time I reread Deadly Rhymes I rediscover little Easter eggs I planted for the Ravenwood Series, of which this trilogy is the beginning of.
