I've gotta be honest. I haven't had much success liking the few stories I've read by this author in the past, but this one.....WOW!!! I loved it. A fairly short, forced seduction story, that wasn't cheesy, and had an awesome ending. I definitely enjoyed this one a lot!

I really like this series, but I feel like once you’ve read one book, you’ve read them all. Basically these books start out as non-con, but then at the end, you learn that it was CNC and that the couple knew each other all along and they were just playing out a fantasy. I loved the first book because I didn’t see the “twist” coming.
I liked the second book, because it was a little bit different as it was MFM, but it had the same basic storyline and the same twist as the first book. I was hoping that this one would be different, but it was basically the same as book 1. So although the smut was good, there was no longer any surprise because I knew how the story would go. Overall though, a good, short, novella about CNC.

3 1/2 stars. Fast, steamy and really good. Alexa Riley is great at these things as well as adding nice little twists, at the end that ends up pulling it all together.

Ummmm... Well... what the fuck?
This book was not my cup of tea. It was just too much creepiness in one picture. I'm by no means squeamish and I can handle pretty much anything in my books, but GOD! This was just... no!
Yes, the ending redeemed the entire book, hence the 2 star rating instead of 1 and a kick to the balls! But I was too creeped out the entire book to enjoy any of this!
The level of smut was just meh! I would not categorise this as BDSM, it was basically just rape fantasy. At least it managed to be extremely creepy, so I guess that makes it pretty realistic?
Either way, it was only 45 pages, so not a huge disappointment. And I'm already taking out my mental bleach to cleanse my brain for the next book!

Taking What's HIS is a hot short read, just like we are used from this author. I love how she portraits her Hs', her works became my guilty pleasure. So, it's no wonder the story in this series follows the authors pattern of OTT possessive hero and his at first unwilling love, of course we can't forget the sweet twist at the end of each story.

Whoa!! This is definitely one of the dirtiest, most explicit little stories I've ever read!! And I competely and totally enjoyed every minute of this fast, filthy story. Read through to the end, there's a nice little twist. Alexa Riley's short stories are perfect for a fresh break between longer books. For fans of very adult, explicit erotica only!!

I was skeptical about the "Forced Submission" series at first, but I think keeping in mind that there's usually a twist that makes the "forced" part ok helps me enjoy these stories a lot more.
Sly stumbles upon Cameron at a truck stop, knows she's the one for him, and decides to take action.
We didn't get to know much about Cameron until the end, but I felt like the twist in the story gave her back a lot of the power. Sly was romantic in a barbaric caveman sort of way - which I found I didn't mind at all. ;)

Ugh, I'm soooo disappointed. Mostly because I actually love this kind of "genre". I enjoyed reading this sort of.. Kidnapping theme. But the sex.. It's just too rough. And the male is actually feel no remorse. That's the only thing that disappoints me. The rest? It's so Alexa Riley and I enjoyed it but.. I want that scene you know, scene where the male is guilty or begging for the female's forgiveness.
