The reason why this book is special is because it was given to me by my grandmother when I graduated from high school. I do not remember reading it, but I do remember the impact she had in my life before she passed away. The book, even though quite old, surprisedly has some neat little tidbits and nuggets of inspiration through poetry, short illustrations and stories. I think about a family member that is graduating from high school this year and I pray that he receives godly wisdom through family and friends which is so needed by this generation.

I picked this book up in the bargain bin and referred to it often when I was counseling high school seniors. I found this book to contain wit, wisdom and humor. I enjoyed the way that the author was bale to use scenarios to tackle difficult topics for the graduate. It is a colloquial book with staying power. I recommend this book to anyone who works with young adults.

Gregory received this for his graduation from high school. It's a small book, only 104 pages and was a quick read. Has some good quotes in it and some good Christian based advice on trying to find your way after graduation.
