I found this very enjoyable, but then I am a big fan of Henry Lawson and find anything about him interesting. This book weaves the lives of these two fabulous Australian authors in and out, allowing you to make some comparisons.

Fascinating to compare the lives and parallels of two of Australia’s best poets. Easy to read and story flows well between the two characters.

I listened to this as an audio book narrated by the author. James Knight takes us into the worlds of Henry Lawson and Banjo Patterson in a chronological series of short vignettes compiled from extensive research. Much of this material I was not previously aware of so it was a delight to learn more about these two literary greats.
