I love this book so much ! It shows us that loves doesn't care what religion you believe in,what nationality you belong to etc.The story is about a muslim Circassian girl and a Russian soldier.Muslim people of the Caucasus in general have pretty negative views towards Russians.Because Russians oppressed them.But this book shows us that the heart doesn't care about anything.(view spoiler) ...more

Didn't love it as much as his other works, but still enjoyed it very much. And it was rather sad... I'm an emotional reader, alright?

Умру вдали брегов желанных;
Мне будет гробом эта степь;
