From author Meghan March comes a sexy new standalone in the Beneath series.

Are you ready to fall in love with the villain?

I’m the guy you love to hate.

In every story in my life, I seem to end up playing the villain—and I’ve got the scars to prove it.

That role works fine for me, because I’m sure as hell not anyone’s hero.

I run my life and my empire with an iron fist—unt

So I read book one in this series quite some time ago.

Don't ask me how long ago "quite some time ago" actually is...

...because I am like a dog and have no actual perception of the passage of time.

Anyway, following that non-specific period of time I ended up going on a book binge this past weekend and demolished books two through four in the span of 24 hours.

And now hung over.

Anyway, needless to say, I really enjoyed this entire this entire series, Beneath These S

Why, oh why, oh why haven't I picked up this author's work before? Meghan March has swept me off my book loving feet and now I'm scrambling like a addict to find extra time to read all the books in this talented authors 'Beneath' series. If this book was an example of what I can expect from this author, then sign me up for more. I'm excited that I

...she didn't have to like me to fuck me; she just had to want me more than she hated me.

I became an instant fan of Meghan March when I first read Beneath These Chains earlier this year. Her writing, her alphas, the super sexy romance, the story, everything about her book just...worked for me. Now while I did feel like I was missing a bit of a backstory here since Lucas was first introduced in Beneath This Ink and I haven't read that yet, that never once diminished my enjoyment. Me

Beneath these scars is about Lucas Titan (we met in book 2 Beneath This Ink) and Yve Santos (Elle’s friend). As a big fan of this amazing series and totally addicted to Meghan March writing style, I like this one but can’t say it was my favorite. The reason why is that I did not connect immediately with the characters. Individually yes, but as a couple it took me some time to get there. These two were a little bit too stubborn and too often at each other's throat trying to prove something. Just ...more

Lucas is a rich fighter used to have what he wants. Yves is a girl that doesn’t fall or trust easily and wants to make it on her own. She is a strong girl with her mind made up… and Lucas never saw anything quite like her before. For the first time he finds himself wanting something, and for the first time he finds himself having to fight for it.
Yves knows that what she feels for Lucas is different, but will she overcome her fears and realize that sometimes life changing is not

This is my first Meghan March and if she can deliver every book with such quality, I will gladly read every single one of them. I'm new to this series and have no problem getting suck into the story.

The reason I picked this book is because of the title. I love reading scarred hero and the whole 'Beauty and the Beast' idea intrigued me. However, I don't consider this hero to be scarred, but he do live in a mansion with a big ass library.

Lucas fucking Titan, his name alone makes me wet.

This book....?

Hands down the best book in this series so far and my personal favorite :D Once I started it I found myself unable to put it down even if that made me late for work :P

If you've read the other books in this series then you've definitely already meet Lucas Fucking hot as fuck piece of billionaire ass :P

Yve has also been a supporting character in the previous novels but now we find out her whole story...and what a story it is. Yve is a survivor and after years that she tri

Nope, nopety, nope, nope, nope! Such a wrong book for me!

This is the 4th book in Beneath series and so far, it is the one I have liked the least.

The hero, Lucas Titan, is a prick, who once blackmailed a woman (Vanessa, heroine of Book2) just to be introduced to a high-class society. I remember hating Lucas fiercely in Book 2.

Now, here, he is not much different. He says he gets what he wants and whom he wants. Still an arrogant as*hole! I never eve

Ahhh.... I finally read my first book from Meghan March and now I'm hooked. I've been hearing nothing but rave reviews and praises for her Beneath Series and so when I was able to get my hands on Beneath These Scars, I was instantly captivated right off the opening pages. This book was a balm to my greedy readers soul. I absolutely loved it! I wasn't planning on writing a review but I can't resist writing a few things.

Lucas Titan is the best kind of asshole, the kind we love. He proved himself a colossal ass in Beneath this Ink but he totally redeems himself in this book. No one says no to Titan until Yve. Lucas has made himself the villain of the story but like all villains lately he turns out to be the good guy. He was bossy, domineering, prot

I loved this audiobook! I have never read anything by Meghan March before I decided to listen to this audiobook. The reason I chose this audiobook comes down to two words....Sebastian York. I absolutely loved his narration of another bad boy in a different audiobook and I wanted to see what he could do with this book. I really liked most things about this audiobook. The story was really good and both of the narrators were fantastic. This book

This was book four in the "Beneath" series, and although it wasn't my favorite; I enjoyed the heck out of it anyway! This one was about Lucas Titan; who we met in "Beneath the Ink," and he is known as the bully. Underneath his gruff personality...aka....assholenish!! there is a man who feels very deeply, and when he sets his sights one Yve he
Wow! This book was amazing! Lucas Titan is a billionaire. He's also a huge jerk. He wants people to think that, he doesn't care. He's hard and focused on work. Yve Santos left an abusive marriage to a rich man and swears she will never date another rich guy. She doesn't ever want to depend on someone else, she wants to be totally self-sufficient and achieve her goals on her own. I fell in love with Meghan March's stories after reading Beneath this Mask and have been thoroughly engrossed in this series ever since. Lucas and Yve's story was no different. These two scarred people (both physically and emotionally) find healing and love in the most unexpected place: each other. Told in alternate points of view, Lucas and Yve's love story starts after each has suffered in their lives and are at times too proud and stubborn to ask for help. But

Yve is finally getting her life on track after leaving her abusive ex and starting over. Managing Dirty Dog, where she has control of all the shop details, has kept her independence. But when Lucas Titan sets his sights on her she's afraid of getting caught up with yet another controlling guy. Lucas doesn't like being told no, so when Yve turns him down it makes him even more determined to get her attention.

Another great addition to an already great series! I loved Lucas and his Alpha

This wasn’t my favorite out of the series, but it was still enjoyable. I was wondering how Meghan March was going to redeem Lucas. He was painted as such the villain in previous books that I was a bit worried that I would not like him.

Yve and Lucas were great characters. Both are strong and battling demons. As with past heroes in this series, Lucas is very possessive and protective. I adored his butler/housekeeper or whatever he was. There was a bit suspense and action, which I gobbled up.

Once again there is overly strong independent female. I either don't mind it or hate. In this case I hated it. She was waaaaaay too "I-can-do-it-on-my-own-so-fuck-off". In the last quarter it got a bit better and she actually started to say something different than that she's fine, she doesn't need help etc.

Yve Santos used to be married to a guy that was crazy. In the bed way. He beat her and almost killed her. Which is probably one of the reasons why she so hell bend on doing eve

I can’t put into words on how much I enjoyed Beneath These Scars. It was personal and emotionally gripping; it made me appreciate everyone’s own journey and how they step by step come to grips with it and how it doesn’t necessarily define you in the end.

Lucas and Yve were two intricate characters written with as much heart, passion, and angst; as they possess, an equiva

I love a good enemies-to-lovers story and Meghan March totally delivered on everything that I love about this trope – wicked banter, epic sexual tension, lots of heart and a realistically-developing love story. Add to that damaged yet wonderfully strong characters, a dramatic plotline, lots of sexy time and enough humour to keep things light, and this book

This is one of the best hate-fucking books I’ve read in a LONG time. Angry sex in the pool? check. Hate fucking in the kitchen? check. ‘Fuck you’ being screamed mid-orgasm? Triple Check. While Yve’s mind desperately wants to hate Lucas, her body has other ideas.

There is a new word for obstinacy and I shall call it Yvestinacy. That sounds a little bit like a disease, and I’m sort of sorry for that. But SERIOUSLY. Yve is incredibly stubborn, but I get it. She escaped the clutches of a terrible sit

Well I’ll be I really didn’t think Titan was going to get a book. I mean I hoped but I wasn’t altogether sure.

Glad he does though I don’t think I will ever think of him and Lucas or even Titan he is Lucas fucking Titan.

The relationship between Yve and Lucas is freaking awesome. She truly does not want to like him and he is so guarded.

I loved the banter the downright spite these two have then how they end up in bed its kind of awesome to say the very least.

I liked
My rating is purely based on the fact that the MC's lacked any kind of real connection. All they do is hate fuck up until 84% into the book where the heroine starts to wonder if she has feelings for him.

The we get several chapters only in her POV back to back so it takes till 94% to find out what his feelings for her are.

I just felt no connection to the characters and I was bored reading about their constant hot and cold behavior.
Oh and the completely predictable plot twist didn't help either.

3.5 Stars - Well I have to say Ms. March made me (yes “made me” because I love her books) read a story with a billionaire and I liked it. Lucas and Yve are both scarred by events in their past, so even though they are hot for each other they have a hard time facing the idea of a relationship.

Lucas Titan is convinced he is the bad guy due to some damage from his past but he is really a good guy deep down. Yve is dealing with scars

I loved all three books of this series until I read the sample of this book. Lucas is a complete and utter wanker! I love badass men but dude seriously what a wanker! An arse. This is probably really unfair of me. But whatever!
