This story reinforced some of life's lessons such as don't judge people by their appearance. Lucy who at first appears shallow & slutty actually is someone else entirely. Blake who is shy and conservative turns out to be very passionate. Their story is endearing. Aaron is adorable and made me laugh more than once.

***** "Loving Lucy" by Chantal Rondeau

What a truly engaging and enjoyable book this was. I absolutely loved Lucy. She is such a vivacious woman who seems to just love life. She is so carefree and not ashamed to be who she is inside and out.

Blake is perfect for her. More reserved and wanting to be a good man for Lucy, he takes the time to treat her well and as she deserves to be treated. He loves who she is and becomes a more open and carefree when he is around Lucy.

While she brings out the fun

This was a fun Christmas romance by Chantel Rhondeau.
Blake Carmichael is a straitlaced number cruncher for the same company that Lucy Brier works for. He has loved her from afar for three years and finally he decides to make his move and talk to her. When he finally makes his move he tells her that she needs to put more clothes on.
Lucy could have taken that comment badly, but instead she choose to tease him about enjoying the show and Blake is caught.

Lucy is a kind and cheerful woman who is misunderstood by not only her coworkers, but also her sister. That's because she's hiding a hurt deep inside, so she tries to appear fun and flirty.

Meanwhile, quiet and stoic accountant, Blake is interested in Lucy but also needs a mother for his five-year-old son. He's not quite sure if Lucy could settle down enough to be a mother, but at the same time, he's attracted to her.

A coworker makes a bet with Blake while Lucy's snobby sister tells Lucy to tone

I received an ARC copy for an honest review. Honestly - I liked the story - interesting, engaging characters. Author has a grasp on what makes a good story. I cannot wait to reaad more of her work. Is Lucy really a bad girl? One thing that made for a good story but that bothered me were the horribly cruel things were said and while it was resolved it seemed so quick for a turnaround. understanding that it is fiction I still hate to see cruel words.

Fun quirky story that is a feel good story showing how people can be misunderstood. Add in a little suspense and you get a great read.
