My Sunday School class read this discovery guide and watched the Video Study and found it very informative. The chapters discuss the Essenes, John the Baptist, Temptation, The Last Super and Gethsemane. The video shows Vander Laan in the Middle East where you can see firsthand account what is in the book. This was our 2nd study of his and it won’t’ be our last. We always walk away with more information and knowledge. We did this during Lent, but it can be done at any time. I highly recommend this study for a class of even as an individual study.
