The author tells the story of the changing seasons with rhyme and beautiful imagery. The art and illustrations throughout the book were made up of different objects instead of just a drawing or paintings, giving the book a more childish and homemade feel.

Unfortunately for the Fall season the author chose a Halloween theme, which made this book undesirable in my home. It's a shame authors can't choose things like harvest or Thanksgiving as representative of Fall instead. Very nicely done pictures, "whimsical, playful collage paintings full of buttons, ribbons, feathers, and more."

I like the writing (about enjoying all seasons, including as a family). I like the content of the art, but it's not my favorite style.
