I reached out to the podcast community, and asked "What advice do you have for new podcasters?". I knew the advice and knowledge the podcast community would share could be helpful to new, and seasoned podcasters, This book was then compiled of 100 of the best pieces of advice submitted. Then I added a short history of podcasting, a list of podcast directories, podcasting tools, and even a list of podcasts about podcasting.
There is some great advice mixed in with a lot of common sense stuff. The book is a quick read as it is sometimes short quotes from podcasters who aren't telling you anything you shouldn't already know. The best part for me was following these podcasts on social media and checking quite a few of them out to listen to.
Some genuinely useful content, disappointed in the digital publishing quality though. Ebook from Amazon includes usual amount of typos to be expected, but twice tips are repeated consecutively and thus attributed to two different people. Jarring and shouldn't have got past even a cursory edit...
In my quest to learn more about podcasting, I picked up the book 100 Great Podcasting Tips: From 100 Great Podcasters. This book is exactly what it sounds like it is.
