Rutland's book on God's mercy touched my heart at a time when I need it. However, he is strangely merciless in his depiction of the church.
That bothers me because it was in the church, with all of its flawed and difficult people that I met mercy.

Just finished this book again for the fourth or fifth time and I'm about ready to start it again! I LOVE THIS BOOK.
