I enjoyed this charming, quick-to-read book! Angel's boss claims she is too sweet to be a reporter until she is given a last chance. She is determined to help an elderly lady who was swindled out of all her money, so she poses as a cleaning lady to get evidence to stop this unethical and illegal operation. Meanwhile, Peter is proud not to be prideful, and feels drawn to Angel, but perceives that she is homeless, Godless and needing help. The ending in the dumpster is appropriate - read to find out why!

In my opinion, this book tops the list of Janice Thompson books. Angel wants to be the best reporter she can be. She is a petite girl and has a lot to prove, both to herself and to her boss. But how far will she go? Will she put her life on the line for a story? She meets the most handsome man as he saves her from sure death in a dumpster. You must read the book to find out why she was there and how he saved her. How many times have you yelled at the characters in a book, "If you'd just talk and listen to one another, all your troubles would be solved."? Janice expertly keeps certain conversations from happening in a most clever way. The characters start to talk it out, but circumstances prevent it from happening. They both have misconceptions about each other. This book teaches us not to trust our first impressions, quit pointing a finger at someone when three fingers are pointing at you, and trust God and listen to Him. The ending of the book brought us to the beginning again. I just loved it.

I was give a copy of this book by the author for proofreading and an honest review. Than you, Janice, for another great read.

Angel Fuentes and Peter Campbell meet in the oddest of ways, in a trash dumpster. Even though they have just meet they instantly fall in love with each other. Although neither will admit it to the other. This story is exciting and I just read straight through it. In this story you see how God can bring people together in the most unsuspecting ways. Janice Thompson has written another wonderful novel, a must read.

Angel is a reporter working undercover when she finds herself in a dumpster being rescued by the garbageman Peter. Peter thinks she's a homeless criminal, and Angel later thinks he's involved in the crime she's trying to unravel! Will they ever get their communication on the same wavelength? [A little cheesy and unbelievable, but fun to read.]

This was a sweet Christian romance. I liked the fact that Angel Fuentes was sweet and innocent rather than tough and hard-hitting. I'm not sure, however, that the evidence Angel collected to solve the mystery was collected in a way that would be admissible in a court of law. Still, it was a sweet story. It also seemed a bit implausible in places, but it was a nice read.

I totally enjoyed this story. It was cute, funny, and, at the same time, a little upsetting. Angel has so much compassion, she seems to be a pushover to her boss. Peter has much compassion, except for his father. How these two meet and what happens will keep you laughing and, possibly, teary eyed at the same time. Great read and I highly recommend it.
