Knightless in Seattle by Jill Jaynes was a cute, light romance novella with just a tiny touch of the paranormal.

Jackie is a young woman living in Seattle who is about to celebrate a birthday. Her best friend has knitted her a pair of gloves for her present and those gloves just may have a touch of magic. She's in a dead-end job with a demeaning boss and hopes for a brighter future. Lance Master is a European Martial Arts master with studios on the east coast. He's in Seattle for both business an

Rec'd an ARC for an honest review. This book is really geared toward a younger audience. Jackie is a young woman who fantasies of being in a different err, one where knight are riding on white horse to rescue a damsel in distress. Jackie's birthday is near and her best friend makes a pair of lace gloves that may or may not have powers. Jackie on her way back from picking up her present runs out of gas. Only to have a knight appear to push her to the gas station. A man wearing tights? Really? He ...more

This was a sweet, short story about a damsel in distress that meets a knight in full shiny chainmail in the middle of a rainy Seattle day.

When Jackie's car runs out of gas, the gorgeous knight Lance Masters comes to her rescue and invites her to LARP fair complete with jousting and all.

It's a short love at first sight read that will have you swooning and hoping a knight comes to your rescue.

Great Shorty!
This is a great shorty by Jill Jaynes. If you are looking for a fun cute book then you need to read this one. This book can be read in one sitting. I am looking forward to reading more books by this author. A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

This was a cute, short story/novella about Jackie - a young woman looking for something more. She ends up being rescued by a knight in shining armor, literally! A sweet short story.

Jill Jaynes began her love affair with romance as a teenager growing up in Southern California, spending many a late-night under the covers with a flashlight and good romance novel. This early addiction stuck, and she discovered one day that telling great stories was even more fun than reading them. Today she writes stories with happy endings her own way- with a dash of magic that means anything c ...more
