So Gender is not a private issue, it's a issue to be boxed strictly into a structure. This book smells so strong of the Nazi who wanted to measure the Jew-ness in someone. They called that also Science.

read this for a class, it was pretty insightful besides the random in depth blurbs to remind you that the authors are brits lol

my soc of gender textbook in spring 2008.

lots of good information, but the fact that it's co-authored by two Brits made its moments of domestic focus irritating. sure, other cultures, legal systems, etc are fascinating, but if I'm going to learn the minutiae of one, I'd prefer it be the one I'll be working with...
