Britton Whitcomb's book is chock-full of helpful information. I successfully transitioned into a fabulous new career--and as corny as the title is, this book was a well-thumbed partner along the way. I headed to the bookstore with the intention to purchase Resume Magic as recommended by a smart friend and picked this one up instead. It has a section on resumes, but also covers the other needed job search marketing materials, determining a good career fit, effective job search strategies, interview hints, salary negotiation, and even some getting-started-on-the-right-foot insights once you land that position. Well worth the precious between-positions cash.
