A heartbreaking glimpse into the life of a homeless, queer teenager, and a must-read for those who work with kids in similar conditions. Thimmesch-Gill offers insight into what it is like for a young person to scrape out an existence without a stable home, and without the support of a family. The book encourages compassion for homeless youth by offering insight to what they are thinking and feeling, as well as how hard they must work to survive.
