This book is like overwhelmingly excellent with all of the high quality photos of mushrooms.
Will I ever eat a mushroom that I find in the wild? Probably not. But maybe if I read this a few more times.

Contains a lot of useful information, especially when foraging. It contains multiple different categories and classifications for the mushrooms and details which ones are toxic versus which ones are edible.

my favorite small paperback field guide this is new so up to date, enough details about each, great photos and easy to use. 400 of the more commonly found, enough to keep this beginner busy for awhile!
