Useful, even if now dated, analysis from several academics and policy analysts of the state of the U.S. health system immediately prior to the enactment of the ACA. It’s interesting to compare what has and hasn’t changed. Also, the chapter analyzing medical bankruptcy is co-written by Elizabeth Warren before she became involved in politics.
